Introduction to the fuzzing or pilling phenomenon of HT Jigger Dyeing Machine fabric
Aug 30, 2021
In the process of airflow dyeing, the fabric runs relatively fast. When it enters the nozzle and the cloth pipe, although it comes into contact with the dye solution, it is not completely surrounded by the dye solution like the overflow dyeing. Therefore, a large conflict force is generated between the surface of the fabric and the pipe wall, and the surface of the fabric will be scratched in severe cases. The designer has tried to form an air cushion through the airflow and also surround the fabric, but in fact it is not the case.
The fuzzing or pilling of the fabric is mostly promoted by external mechanical effects (stretching, conflict), except for the high fiber strength and flexural resistance of the fabric, and the large surface area of the exposed yarn (such as knitted fabric). Therefore, the current solution is to improve the manufacturing accuracy of the inside and outside of the equipment, and to eliminate or improve the process by appropriately reducing the running speed of the fabric and adding a lubricant.
