Reactive dye neutral fixation process of bobbin dyeing machine
Feb 17, 2022
The neutral fixation process of reactive dyes is a long-term research topic. In the dyeing process using reactive dyes, alkali is used as a condition for fixation. At the same time, as the alkalinity increases, the hydrolysis rate of the dye also increases, resulting in a decrease in fixation efficiency. In addition, the stability of the dye solution prepared in the production will also decrease due to the increase in alkalinity, resulting in a decrease in the reproducibility of dyeing. Therefore, dyeing with reactive dyes is subject to some restrictions.
In order to overcome the shortcomings of reactive dyes dyeing under alkaline conditions, the neutral fixation process of reactive dyes appeared. The prerequisite of this process is how to improve the fixation speed of reactive dyes under neutral conditions. From the aspect of process control, it depends on the four aspects of dye properties, fiber properties, reaction medium and fixation reaction conditions. The fixing reaction conditions include reaction temperature, pH value, electrolyte concentration, bath ratio, and dyeing auxiliary concentration, all of which are related to the control of the dyeing machine. If the dyeing machine has these control functions, then it can better realize the neutral fixation process of reactive dyes.
