Several problems should be paid attention to in the process of color matching in package dyeing?

Jul 15, 2022

(1) The same type of dye should be selected during color matching to facilitate the control of dyeing process and the simplification of process.

(2) The dyeing properties of dyes, such as directness, dye uptake rate and color fastness, should be similar, so as to facilitate the control of color light. Otherwise, the color light is different after dyeing, and the color light will change due to different fading degrees during post-processing or use.

(3) The number of dyes used for color matching should be as few as possible to facilitate the control of color light.

(4) Master the principle of aftercolor. Aftercolor means that two colors have the characteristics of mutual subtraction. For example, a blue with red light, if you think the red light is too heavy, you can add a small amount of red aftercolor (green dye) to reduce it. However, it should be noted that the residual color principle is used to adjust the color light, which is only a small amount of adjustment. Too much dosage will affect the color depth and brightness. During color matching, when the affinity and dye uptake rate between dyes are too different, the hue of yarn will be different at different dyeing times.
