What is the softening process of the normal temperature dyeing machine?

1. Preparation
Fabric selection: Select the appropriate fabric according to the type, material, color and other factors of the fabric to be softened. Different fabrics may require different softeners and treatment processes.
Softener selection: Select the appropriate softener according to the characteristics of the fabric and the requirements of the softening process. Common softeners include cationic, anionic, non-ionic, etc. Each softener has its specific scope of application and effect.
Equipment inspection: Check whether the various components of the normal temperature dyeing machine are operating normally, including motors, transmission devices, cloth guide rollers, dye tanks, etc. Ensure that the equipment is fault-free and can be softened normally.
Dye solution preparation: According to the instructions for use of the softener, mix the softener with an appropriate amount of water to prepare the dye solution of the required concentration. When preparing the dye solution, pay attention to stirring evenly to ensure that the softener is fully dissolved.
2. Process steps
Cloth loading: Install the prepared fabric on the reel of the normal temperature dyeing machine, pay attention to the flatness and uniform tension of the fabric, and avoid wrinkles and looseness.
Dipping: Start the normal temperature jigger and slowly dip the fabric into the prepared softener dye solution. The dipping time depends on the material and thickness of the fabric, generally 10-30 minutes.
Winding: During the dipping process, the fabric is continuously wound and unwound on the reel of the jigger to allow the softener to fully penetrate into the fabric fibers. The winding speed should be moderate to avoid too fast or too slow affecting the softening treatment effect.
Extrusion: The fabric after dipping is squeezed through the extrusion device of the jigger to remove excess dye and control the fabric's liquid carrying rate. The extrusion pressure should be adjusted according to the material and thickness of the fabric, generally 0.2-0.5 MPa.
Drying: Dry the extruded fabric to remove moisture from the fabric and solidify the softener on the fabric. The drying temperature depends on the material of the fabric and the characteristics of the softener, generally 80-120℃. The drying time depends on the thickness of the fabric and the performance of the drying equipment, generally 10-30 minutes.
Cooling: Cool the dried fabric to reduce its temperature to room temperature. The cooling method can be natural cooling or forced cooling. Choose the appropriate cooling method according to the actual situation.
Inspection: Inspect the fabric after softening to check whether the softness, feel, color and other indicators meet the requirements. If they do not meet the requirements, they can be adjusted or reprocessed.
3. Precautions
The amount of softener should be moderate. Too much or too little will affect the softening effect. Generally speaking, the amount of softener is 1-5% of the weight of the fabric.
The temperature of the dye liquor should be controlled within the normal temperature range to avoid too high or too low temperature affecting the performance of the softener and the softening effect.
The winding speed and extrusion pressure should be adjusted according to the material and thickness of the fabric to avoid deformation or damage of the fabric due to too fast or too strong winding and extrusion.
The drying temperature and time should be adjusted according to the material of the fabric and the characteristics of the softener to avoid discoloration, hardening or decomposition of the fabric due to too high temperature or too long time.
During the softening process, pay attention to keeping the equipment clean and hygienic to avoid impurities and pollutants entering the dye liquor and affecting the softening effect.
When softening fabrics of different materials and colors, be sure to treat them separately to avoid mutual contamination. At the same time, choose the appropriate softener and treatment process according to the characteristics of the fabric to achieve the best softening effect.
