Flow and pressure control of overflow dyeing machine
Apr 03, 2023
Flow and pressure are two important parameters of the overflow dyeing machine, which are determined by the main circulation pump. The flow rate is necessary to ensure the dyeing exchange between the dyestuff and the fabric, and it must be large enough. In a specific dyeing process, the change should be as small as possible. It is completely controlled by the main pump. For the overflow jet dyeing machine, the pressure refers to the pressure generated by the nozzle; for the package dyeing machine, it refers to the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the package, but the total pressure is still provided by the lift of the main pump.
In the dyeing process, flow and pressure play a very important role, and different fabrics and processes have different flow and pressure (jet force or pressure difference) of dye liquor. For example, compared with the high-count fabric with a large surface and the rapid dyeing process, the flow rate is required to be large; for light fabrics and fabrics with delicate surfaces, the spray force is required to be small; flow, but also have a strong injection force. Therefore, the flow and pressure should vary according to different fabrics and processes.
Traditional overflow dyeing machines, in order to meet the changes in flow and pressure, are all controlled by the cut-off adjustment of the outlet of the main pump. Because this control method is affected by human factors, it is not accurate enough; at the same time, the main circulation pump is not working at the optimal working point, and the efficiency is reduced. According to the characteristic curve of the main pump, within a certain range of speed adjustment, the speed of the main pump can be changed through AC frequency conversion to realize the change of flow and lift to meet the requirements of different dyeing processes, so as to ensure that the main pump is always at the optimum of the corresponding flow and curve. Work at the best working condition to save electricity.
As for the specific determination of flow and pressure, flow or pressure detection can be set, and automatic control can be realized through PLC processing. It is set in the PLC, and the user only needs to select the corresponding parameter menu according to the fabric to be dyed.
