Introduction of Continuous Pad Dyeing Machine

Oct 01, 2022

Continuous pad dyeing machine is suitable for large-scale continuous printing and dyeing processing, with high labor efficiency and low production cost. It is the most important dyeing equipment for cotton, chemical fiber and its blended fabrics. According to the different dyes used, the types of continuous pad dyeing machines are also different, such as vat dye suspension pad dyeing machine, Naftto dye base and color development machine, sulfur dye pad dyeing machine, hot melt dyeing machine, etc. Although the continuous pad dyeing machine is suitable for large-scale continuous printing and dyeing processing, with high labor efficiency and low production cost, it is the most important dyeing equipment for cotton, chemical fiber and its blended fabrics. According to the different dyes used, the types of continuous pad dyeing machines are also different, such as vat dye suspension pad dyeing machine, Naftto dye base and color development machine, sulfur dye pad dyeing machine, hot melt dyeing machine, etc. Although the types are different, their composition can be roughly divided into the following parts.

1. rolling car

The paddle car is the main device for fabric padding dyes, which is composed of rollers, grooves and pressure devices. There are soft and hard rolls, the hard rolls are stainless steel or bakelite, and the soft rolls are rubber. There are lever pressurization, oil dynamic and pneumatic pressurization. The rolls are divided into two rolls and three rolls, and the padding force is in the form of one dip, one dip, two dips, or two dips, depending on the type of fabric seeds and dyes.

2. drying device

The drying device includes three types of infrared, hot air and drying cylinder drying. The first two are non-contact drying, and the fabric is subjected to less tension.

(1) Infrared drying: Infrared drying is the use of infrared radiation to penetrate the inside of the fabric, so that the water evaporates, the heat is uniform, and the migration of dyes is not easy to occur. The drying efficiency is high, and the equipment occupies a small area.

(2) Hot air drying: Hot air drying is the use of hot air to dry the fabric. The heated air is sprayed to the fabric from the nozzle, so that the moisture on the fabric evaporates and escapes into the air. This type of dryer is inefficient and occupies a large area.

(3) Cylinder drying: Cylinder drying is to use the fabric to be dried through the surface of the metal cylinder heated with steam, which has high efficiency, but is easy to cause dye migration. In actual production, in order to improve production efficiency and ensure dyeing quality, several methods are often used in combination with each other.

3. steam box

Some dyes need to be steamed after dyeing, and saturated steam is passed through the steamer. The fabric passes through the steamer to bulk the fibers, and the dyes and other chemicals diffuse into the fibers. In some steam boxes, in order to prevent air from entering, water seals or steam seals are set at the inlet and outlet of the steam box. This kind of steam box is called a reduction steam box.

4. Flat washing device

It includes a multi-grid flat wash tank for cold water, hot water, soaping and post-treatment according to different dyes.

5. After drying device

The drying after dyeing is done in a drying cylinder. At present, the continuous pad dyeing machine is composed of the above unit machines, and some unit machines can be added or removed according to the needs to adapt to the dyeing of different dyes.
