Matters needing attention in dyeing machine under high temperature dyeing
Feb 17, 2023
1. Preparation of dye solution
To prepare a dye solution, the dye needs to be slurried with a small amount of cold water, then diluted with water at room temperature, being careful not to overheat the diluted water. Water above 60 degrees is not acceptable, it will damage the disperse dyed quilt. In the case of curing, in addition to the above-mentioned preparations, the dye can also be prepared by the powder spraying method. That is, slowly spray the dye in high-concentration cold water, then stir at high speed, and at the same time use a stirrer to stir slowly to prevent precipitation.
2. When choosing dyes for dyeing, it is necessary to choose varieties with good diffusivity and flatness, and dyes with similar dyeing properties should be used for color matching.
3. Reduction cleaning is an important part of removing floating color. After reduction cleaning, the color will be a little lighter. At the same time, the rubbing fastness and light resistance are improved.
4. Prevention of tar spots The so-called tar spots are viscous substances formed in the dye solution, and the main components are dye dispersants and polyester oligomers. When the polyester oligomer is polycondensed, it penetrates from the fiber, flows into the dyeing solution, and attaches to the surface of the fiber during the high temperature and long-term dyeing process. Measures to prevent tar spots include:
1. Strengthen the pre-treatment of fabrics.
2. Increase the dye bath ratio.
3. Apply high temperature and high pressure dispersant.
4. Use high-temperature drainage to prevent dye crystallization after cooling.
5. Shorten the cleaning cycle of the dyeing machine.
