What are the common faults and solutions for the tension control system of the dyeing machine?

Jun 28, 2024

Fault 1: Unstable tension and large fluctuations
Cause: Fault or reduced accuracy of the tension sensor; unreasonable setting of control system parameters; stuck or worn mechanical parts.
Solution: Check and replace damaged tension sensors; re-optimize control system parameters, such as PID parameters; maintain and lubricate mechanical parts, and repair or replace worn parts.
Fault 2: Excessive tension causes fabric stretching and deformation
Cause: The tension setting value is too high; the control algorithm has deviations; the drive device fails and the output is abnormal.
Solution: Re-adjust the tension setting value to the appropriate range; check and correct the control algorithm; repair the drive device, such as the inverter or motor.
Fault 3: Too little tension causes fabric relaxation
Cause: Inaccurate tension sensor measurement; the control system fails and cannot output the control signal normally; the mechanical transmission part slips.
Solution: Calibrate the tension sensor; troubleshoot the hardware and software faults of the control system; check the connection of the mechanical transmission to ensure that there is no slippage.
Fault 4: The system suddenly loses tension control
Cause: Power failure; controller freezes; communication line interruption.
Solution: Check the power supply and repair the power problem; restart the controller, if it freezes frequently, replace it; check and repair the communication line.
