1. Fabric Preparation
Before dyeing, the fabric to be dyed needs to be placed on the unwinding device of the jigger dyeing machine in a suitable manner to ensure that the fabric can be smoothly unrolled and enter the dye solution. The fabric can be in flat width or rope form, depending on the type of fabric and dyeing requirements.
2. Dye Solution Configuration
Add appropriate dyes and auxiliaries to the dye tank in a certain proportion and order to form a dye solution. The role of the auxiliaries is to help the dyes dissolve, penetrate and adhere to the fabric fibers better.
3. Dye solution entering the dye tank
The core working process of the jigger dyeing machine starts. The machine is driven by a motor to slowly wind the fabric from one cloth roller to another. During this process, the fabric will be completely immersed in the normal temperature dye solution, and the dye solution will fully contact the fabric. As the fabric is wound, the dye molecules gradually diffuse into the fabric fibers at normal temperature.
4. The fabric is reciprocated in the dye solution
This ensures that all parts of the fabric have enough time and opportunity to contact the dye solution. For example, when the fabric is wound in one direction and then wound back in the opposite direction, the dye can be evenly absorbed on both sides of the fabric and the internal fibers.
5. Dyeing liquid circulation system
During the dyeing process, the dyeing liquid circulation system is also working synchronously. It keeps the dyeing liquid circulating in the dyeing tank through pumps and pipes to prevent the dye from settling. This ensures the uniformity of the dyeing liquid composition and further ensures the uniformity of the fabric dyeing.
6. When the predetermined dyeing time is reached
The fabric comes out of the dyeing liquid, passes through devices such as squeezing rollers to remove excess dyeing liquid, and then undergoes subsequent washing, soaping and other processes to remove unfixed dyes and auxiliaries, and finally obtains a finished fabric with uniform dyeing.
