Key points and precautions for dyeing jigger operation

Aug 11, 2023

The high-pressure automatic jigger can be used for high-pressure dyeing of various thick and thin synthetic fiber cotton fabrics, and can also dye various natural and mixed knitted fabrics under normal temperature and pressure.

Early jiggers were made of wood and iron, and in the second half of the 1970s, stainless steel plates were gradually used for processing. According to the different types of fabrics produced, there are three types of jiggers: open, covered, and high-pressure. Now most of the open machines have been replaced. The capped jigger is mainly used for dyeing silk and cotton, and the high-pressure jigger is used for dyeing synthetic fiber cotton fabrics such as polyester fabrics and cotton fibers.

Key links in the operation process:

1. Chemicals: dyes are indispensable. Now the chemical tanks are fully stirred and dissolved before they can be pumped into the machine tank. Otherwise, the nylon fabric may cause color lake stains

2. Temperature: It is indispensable to cover the heat preservation and heat insulation operation to keep the temperature of the upper and lower liquids of the equipment cylinder consistent.

3. Raise the temperature: When adding steam to raise the temperature, the cloth roll cannot be operated, otherwise the temperature difference between the upper, lower, left, and right will cause color shift

4. Head and tail: Before operation, make sure that the difference between the temperature of the cloth rolling roller and the temperature under the liquid is not too large. In winter, it is necessary to prevent the cloth rolling roller from being too cold so that the cloth layer that touches the rolling roller is cooled. The rewind roll makes it warmer.
