Some Key Points of Dyeing on Jiggers
Aug 02, 2023
(1) The edges of the cylinder inlet and row should be neat. No matter what kind of fabric is to be dyed on the jigger, first of all, a cart (roll) of fabric that has been sewn in advance should be pushed to the front of the cylinder, and a piece of joint cloth on it should be pulled out. If the dead roll is scratched, it passes through the expanding roll and the bottom guide roll (on the steam pipe) from one side, wraps it on the opposite crossing roll, and then rolls the fabric into the cylinder in the middle, and wraps a piece of joint cloth below it on the inlet On the cross roller on one side of the cloth. However, no matter the pre-treated wet cloth or the dry gray cloth, one side must be kept neat, and the other side will have some unevenness (irregularity). This is normal, but it is not allowed to be uneven on both sides. Secondly, set the automatic U-turn (reversing) and counting device, and drive the machine to let the rolled fabric return (1 pass). If the situation is normal, the residual liquid in the tank can be drained, and the new liquid can be replaced to the specified bath. Compare. Finally, the temperature of the blank bath in the cylinder is generally raised to 40°C. When C, add materials according to the process requirements.
(2) Dissolve the dyeing materials separately, and feed them evenly on both sides. Pay attention to three points when adding any kind of dyes and chemicals into the jigger: ① When you are not skilled, you must stop the machine to add materials, and do not add while walking; ② The dyes and chemicals must be dissolved in advance for use; Divide it into two parts and add it on both sides. After adding each side, you must use bamboo, wood or stainless steel rods to move back and forth to make it even. Clean production and develop good operating habits. (3) Adjust the expansion frame (scaffold) according to the thickness of the fabric. It should be adjusted according to the thickness/thinness of the fabric. For thin fabrics such as Nisifang, Ditafu and Chunyafang, the middle protrusion and both ends of the scaffolding can only be 1.5-2cm higher than the two ends of the scaffolding. If the difference is too large, the amount of liquid (scraping) in the fabric will be different, resulting in uneven color depth; on the contrary, if the protrusions between the ends and the middle of the scaffold are too small (flat), it will also easily cause wrinkles in the fabric. Practice has proved that it is generally more appropriate to adjust the height of the two ends of the scaffold and the protrusion of the middle I by 2-3em. Thick fabrics such as canvas, corduroy, and velveteen cannot have more than 5cm of protrusion between the ends and the middle. In short, if you change the dyeing variety, you must adjust the expansion frame, or adjust it higher or lower, and avoid changing one layer.
(4) Adjustment of reel tension. The dyeing on the jigger relies on the extrusion between the fabric and the fabric. Therefore, the tension must be well controlled when dyeing, and it must also be adjusted continuously with changes in the thickness of the fabric. Because the tension of the reel is too high, the fabric will often be broken, and thin fabrics may even be pulled into cracks; on the contrary, if the tension is too small If it is light, it will cause colored flowers in dyeing, especially vat dyes; in serious cases, the fabric will slip during the back-and-forth dyeing process, resulting in unevenness on both sides, and sometimes even "inverting the cylinder" (that is, putting the roll in the cross-dyeing process). The fabric on the shaft is poured out again, and then the tension is adjusted, and the edges are neatly put into the cylinder).
(5) Pay attention to observation during the dyeing process: ① Is the force (steam size) ejected from both sides of the directly heated steam pipe consistent? Sometimes it will be blocked by fiber debris. If you see such a situation, you need to promptly Solution, sometimes due to long-term use, the hole will be enlarged, and it needs to be replaced at this time. The indirect heating depends on whether the trap is out of order, otherwise it will affect the heat preservation; ②Is each guide roller active and balanced? As long as there are 1 to 2 If the cloth guide roller is not flexible enough, it will cause scratches and weft skew; ③Is the liquid-carrying rate of the fabric consistent, and is there any scraping phenomenon? ④Is there any dripping phenomenon in the cylinder (drain plug) and sealing ring? Covered When opening the cover of the dyeing machine, the operator and other people should stand on the side and pay attention to observe. If the problem is found, it should be solved in time. Otherwise, it must be repaired in time without delay, so as to avoid greater losses. Ordinary jiggers can generally operate 2 sets per person; 3 sets (or above) for skilled workers.
