How to judge whether the heating tube of Jig Dyeing Machine needs to be replaced?

Heating efficiency
1. Slow heating speed: Under normal circumstances, Jig Dyeing Machine can heat the dye to the specified temperature within the set time. If the heating time is significantly extended, for example, it can be heated to 60℃ within 30 minutes in the past, but now it takes 45 minutes or even longer, and other factors (such as increased dye volume, low ambient temperature, etc.) are excluded, it is likely that there is a problem with the heating tube and the heating efficiency is reduced. At this time, it is necessary to consider replacing the heating tube.
2. Uneven temperature: Aging or damage of the heating tube may cause uneven temperature of the dye, and local overheating or overcooling. If the fabric is found to be unevenly colored during the dyeing process, after excluding the dye and stirring factors, it can be judged by measuring the temperature of different positions of the dye. If the temperature difference exceeds the normal range (generally ±2℃), it may be that the heating tube is unevenly distributed or the performance of some heating tubes has declined, and the heating tube needs to be checked and possibly replaced.
Appearance inspection
1. Surface deformation or damage: Carefully observe the surface of the heating tube. If there is obvious deformation, bulging, cracks or damage, it will affect the heating effect and safety, and should be replaced in time. These damages may be caused by long-term high temperature, corrosion or mechanical collision.
2. Severe surface scaling: If there is a large amount of hard scale or dye deposits on the surface of the heating tube, it will hinder heat transfer and reduce heating efficiency. When the scaling is serious and cannot be effectively removed by conventional cleaning methods, even if the heating tube can still work, it is recommended to consider replacing it to ensure the normal operation of the equipment and dyeing quality.
Electrical performance test
1. Abnormal resistance value: Use a professional multimeter to measure the resistance value of the heating tube. If the resistance value is significantly different from the nominal value of the heating tube (generally more than ±10%), it means that the heating wire inside the heating tube may have problems such as aging, open circuit or short circuit, which will affect the heating performance and need to be replaced.
2. Degraded insulation performance: Use an insulation resistance tester to detect the insulation resistance of the heating tube. If the insulation resistance value is lower than the specified value (generally required to be greater than 2MΩ), it indicates that the insulation performance of the heating tube has deteriorated and there is a risk of leakage. For safety reasons, the heating tube should be replaced immediately.
3. Service life: The heating tube has a certain service life, and the service life of heating tubes of different materials and qualities is different. Generally speaking, the service life of ordinary heating tubes is about 2000-3000 hours. If the heating tube of the Jig Dyeing Machine has been used for a long time and is close to or exceeds its expected service life, even if there is no obvious sign of failure at present, preventive replacement can be considered to avoid sudden failures affecting production.
