The development of jigger dyeing machine and key points of operation
Dec 22, 2023
The early jigger dyeing machines were made of wood and iron. In the mid-to-late 1970s, they gradually began to be made of stainless steel. Depending on the type of fabrics produced and processed, there are three types of jigger dyeing machines: open, covered, and high-pressure. Nowadays, most of the open equipment has been replaced. The capped jig dyeing machine is mainly used for dyeing satin and pure cotton fabrics, while the high-pressure jigger dyeing machine is used for dyeing polyester, polyester and other man-made fiber fabrics.
Practical key points
1. Chemicals: The dye is essential. It must be fully mixed and dissolved in the chemical barrel before it can be put into the machine cylinder. Otherwise, the nylon fabric may cause lake stains.
2. Temperature: It is essential to cover and operate with heat insulation to maintain the same temperature of the upper and lower parts of the main cylinder.
3. Warming: When adding steam stripping temperature, the cloth roll cannot be operated, otherwise the temperature difference between the front, back, left, and right will cause color cast.
4. First and last: Before operation, it should be ensured that the temperature of the cloth rolling roller is not significantly different from the temperature under the liquid. In winter, it is especially necessary to prevent the cloth rolling roller from being too cool, which will cause the fabric layer touching the rolling roller to be cooled down. It can be poured with hot dyeing liquid several times. The roller allows it to increase the temperature.
