Working principle of overflow dyeing machine
Feb 09, 2024
1. Preparation: Put the fabric to be dyed into the dye vat of the dyeing machine, and add dye and other necessary chemicals.
2. Dye dispersion: The dyes and chemicals in the dyeing machine are dissolved in water to form a dye liquor. The dye liquor is evenly dispersed in the dye vat through mechanical stirring or bubble injection.
3. Dye Penetration: The dye vat in a dyeing machine usually has multiple dye vats between which the fabric travels. When the dye liquor in the dye vat penetrates into the fabric, the dye will interact with the fibers of the fabric to achieve the dyeing effect.
4. Overflow effect: A key feature of an overflow dyeing machine is the connecting pipe between the dye vats. When the dye liquor in the dye vat penetrates into the fabric, the excess dye liquor will flow to the next dye vat through the connecting pipe. This flooding effect ensures even distribution of the dye and avoids uneven spots of dye on the fabric.
5. Cleaning and color fixing: After dyeing is completed, the fabric will go through cleaning and color fixing steps to remove excess dye and chemicals and ensure the durability of the dyeing effect.
